Space-based analytics startup Ursa said it raised $15 million in Series B venture capital funding led by Razor’s Edge Ventures, a backer of several space and defense upstarts.
The startup aims to bring satellite-based synthetic aperture radar (SAR) services to commercial customers, starting with financial users and then expanding to the supply chain, logistics, and insurance markets. The company aggregates space-based data and combines it with other services to offer as business intelligence.
